Looking for 2 positions - 1 for the 9am-9pm shift and 1 for the 9pm-9am shift.
Overview
Responsible for various functions and activities related to the operation of the Production Department, including but not limited to raw material delivery, process operations, packaging, sampling, and maintenance.
Duties/Responsibilities

Overview
Responsible for various functions and activities related to the operation of the Production Department, including but not limited to raw material delivery, process operations, packaging, sampling, and maintenance.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Observe strict compliance with the Company’s safety policies and procedures; take immediate corrective actions in the event a potential issue occurs or when unsafe behavior is observed.
- Ensures proper pass-downs by providing effective written and oral communications to the relieving shift.
- Pulls samples throughout all processes and delivers samples to the lab.
- Performs some maintenance tasks, works with outside vendors when on-site performing maintenance, and checks conditions when maintenance is completed.
- Monitors and accurately records temperatures, pressures, and rates of flow for upward or downward trends.
- Utilizes process control computer interfaces to maintain variables within target rates.
- Performs required production quality control checks and ensures that plant purification parameters are in spec.
- Assists with troubleshooting of potential issues while providing assistance to others when problems occur.
- Ensures documentation is in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Communicates with engineers, maintenance technicians, Lab Technicians, and other team members to assist in identifying maintenance issues and planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Actively assumes personal accountability for meeting the Company’s standards of continuous personal and professional development.
- Participates in training and responds to emergency situations as required.
- Actively complies with all operating policies and procedures.
- Ensures that workstations are free from hazardous materials.
- Awareness of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English fluently and understand operation procedures.
- Possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle, as required.
- Must be able to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation.
- Must be able to read and operate computers, to include Microsoft Office suite, web browsers and DCS.
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift schedule, which will require working at night, every other weekend, and on occasional holidays.
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test examination.
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent).
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of current experience as a Process/Production Operator in a chemical work environment.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking, working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, walk on high-elevation grating, work in inclement weather, work around loud industrial equipment, and work outdoors with reasonable accommodations.
- Must be physically able to bend or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on an as-needed basis.
- Visual acuity to read instructions and operate machinery.
- Outdoor exposure and seasonal extreme heat.
