Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning to support company growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead employee relations efforts, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Implement and manage compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
- Develop training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities and leadership growth.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a fair and inclusive workplace.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business operations and long-term strategy.
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and HRIS systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR functions within the construction sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, OSHA regulations, and construction workforce compliance.
- Experience in managing large, dispersed teams, including union and non-union workforces.
- Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business success.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
