Residential Landscape Construction Team Member

This position is for residential landscape renovation construction work. It is physically and mentally difficult but rewarding work done outdoors in all kinds of weather. You will be an integral part of a small crew that holds high standards for themselves, the company, and their co-workers. We are looking for a hard-working, self-motivated person who wants more than just a "job". Ideally you already enjoy landscaping and are just looking for a long-term home to practice your craft. If you have related work and/or construction experience and landscaping is something you want to do, we would like to talk with you.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from our shop outside northwest Arvada.
• Be reliable and on time every day.
• Have good references from recent employers.
  
  

The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience in some or all of the following areas:

• General landscape construction.
• Safe operation of various truck and trailer combinations.
• Client relation and communication skills.
• Small and mid-size equipment operation: mini-loader, demo saw, sod cutter, skidsteer, mini-ex, etc.
• Stone and paver patio and walkway installation.
• Natural stone and concrete block retaining wall construction.
• Sprinkler system design, layout and installation.
• Complex drainage systems and site grading.
• Landscape lighting.
• Boulder setting.
• General plant knowledge and planting techniques.
• Comprehension of blueprints/designs and the ability to do on-site layout.
• General use of laser level/transit.
• Crew management.
• Masonry and concrete.
• Water feature construction.
  
  

Compensation

$19 - $24 / Hour.
