Job Overview

R-Value Homes is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to oversee daily operations across our high-performance custom home projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Jobsite Management
    • Onsite coordination of trade partners
    • Enforce safety and cleanliness standards
    • Conduct inspection walkthroughs
    • Ensure site is secure and organized
  • Labor & Installation Oversight
    • Lead framing, ICF, and additional hands-on construction tasks
    • Train apprentices and schedule internal labor
  • Material Management
    • Order and protect materials for framing, ICF, siding, and trim
    • Coordinate materials and equipment on site
    • Return excess materials promptly
  • Quality Control
    • Weekly inspections of ongoing/completed work
    • Ensure adherence to R-Value's quality standards and specifications
  • Reporting & Logistics
    • Maintain truck and tool inventory
    • Submit maintenance requests
    • Utilize software for project documentation and communication
Performance Expectations

  • Weekly site visit for each assigned project
  • Maintain clean, organized jobsites (monthly)
  • Full compliance with written project specifications
  • Ensure air tightness < 1.0 ACH @ 50 pascals
  • Zero blowouts or tolerance violations on footings/walls

  • Character Traits

    • Strong backbone to enforce quality standards
    • Highly organized and independent leader
  • Education & Experience
    • 10+ years in framing, trim, or poured wall construction
    • Deep knowledge of residential building codes and practices
    • Skilled in reading/interpreting construction drawings
    • Builder's license preferred; Chauffeur's license required; CDL a plus
    • Proficient with Google Docs/Sheets and Microsoft Excel
    • Clean driving and criminal record

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday (exact hours based on project demands)
