Project Engineer

Central Plumbing, Heating, Excavation is hiring for a Project Engineer. This role's primary responsibility will be assisting project managers with submittals and creating operation and maintenance manuals. This is a full-time position. CPHE offers a generous benefits package and competitive wages.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Submittals.
• Create and submit Operation and maintenance manuals.
• Learning and practicing Central estimating systems.
• Material tracking.
• Daily tasks as required including timecards, quantity verification.
• Pre-planning project (project manual, pre-construction meetings, foreman’s manuals).
• Contract drawings and specification interpretation.
• Help develop and maintain project schedules
• Manage documentation with project management software
  
  

Assisting Field With The Following

• Aid in layout of projects
• As required, maintain daily documentation
• Submittal and shop drawing review as assigned.
• Inspection and verification of material deliveries and quantities.
  
  

Accounting Skills

• Become familiar with our current operating software (“Timberline”) program.
• Assist in Change order interpretation, pricing and billing.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Positive attitude.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
