Job Title: Production Coordinator

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Pay: $18 - $19/hr + regular OT pay

Job Description:

• Providing continual updates from the shop floor to the internal team via collaborative tools.
• Ensuring material and supplies are available at machines.
• Facilitating changes and updates to the schedule to keep everyone informed.
• Supporting operator inquiries and communicating effectively with supervisors.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep the Daily Production Log (DPL) updated with the latest completions and information.
• Verify Manufacturing Plans (MPs) for accuracy before submission:
• Proper material/finish
• Correct tolerances
• Accurate skid quantities and specifications
• Proper processes in place
• Provide machines with the latest schedules, changes, and MPs.
• Review completed MPs for quality notes and shortages.
• Communicate order shortages to corresponding sales personnel.
• Collaborate with logistics on changes affecting scheduled trucks.
• Maintain updates on the DPL based on logistics and supply team input.
• Verify skid availability at machines and collaborate with the supply team on any missing items.
• Update the office scheduling team on any issues hindering completion.
• Report machine downtime to DPL and follow up with maintenance and supervisors.
• Work closely with operators on MPs, priorities, and changes.
• Support management, supply scheduling, and production scheduling teams.
• Ensure alignment between DPL and the shop floor.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: 6 months - 4 years in customer service, logistics, or operations
• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel
• Analytical Skills: Comfortable with numbers
