Job Purpose:

This position will develop, implement, and manage warranties for the organization accordingly.

Essential Functions

  • Work with customers to ensure that warranty claims are prepared, filed and collected in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work with clients to customize, manage and monitor notifications distributed by manufacturing in regard to fleet breakdowns, repairs and maintenance needed.
  • Manage in-house warranty in regard to unit customization and proprietary parts.
  • Oversee customer service department in relations to customized programs offered to clients to offer a superior dealership experience.
  • Build strong customer relationships to ensure customer’s growing needs are met.
  • Remains abreast of competition, company’s strengths and weaknesses, evolving opportunities and communicates back to the organization potential value-added products and services that will drive company revenue growth and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries; Assist in delivering required training to ensure that all coworkers have the necessary skills to perform their jobs properly and safely.
  • Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal & external).
  • Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Companywide policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to liability.
  • Special projects or work as assigned.

Experience/Training/Education

Required: Associate or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of industry related work history.

Preferred: Strong working knowledge of crane and construction equipment, operations and mechanical function

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong customer service and sales skills;
  • A drive to identify and resolve product problems;
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
  • Possess strong people and organizational skills;
  • Work cooperatively with customers, sales representatives, staff, management, and other associates.

Physical And Environmental Elements

This is primarily an office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus
