Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Supply Chain & Inventory Management to lead and optimize our global supply chain, logistics, and inventory operations. This role is responsible for enhancing supply chain efficiency, improving stock accuracy, minimizing excess inventory, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. The Director will work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, sales, and external vendors to align inventory and logistics strategies with company goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Inventory Management & Control
    • Develop and execute strategies to control costs, minimize excess inventory, and improve stock accuracy.
    • Oversee perpetual inventory processes, ensuring regular audits and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
    • Manage stock profiles, locations, and remove obsolete inventory to free up working capital.
  • Global Supply Chain Strategy
    • Lead the global supply chain function, defining organizational structure, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency and delivery excellence.
    • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales to align supply chain objectives with company goals.
  • Logistics Operations
    • Assess logistics capabilities and develop a strategic roadmap for performance improvements.
    • Implement logistics-related projects, including process optimization, technology upgrades, and ERP system integration.
    • Reduce logistics costs through optimized freight management and carrier negotiations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure full compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations.
    • Identify and manage risks across supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and operational performance.
    • Support new product introductions and supply planning initiatives with inventory and logistics insights.
Requirements/Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management , Business, Logistics, or related field required.
    • APICS (CPIM or CSCP) certification preferred.
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management roles.
    • Experience leading global or multi-site operations preferred.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and reconciliation abilities.
    • Familiarity with supply chain analytics tools and freight management systems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL

  • This is a hybrid role with collaboration across departments and external vendors.
