The Roanoke Regional Airport Commission (RRAC) is seeking a forward-thinking Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives, improve operations, and help drive sustainable revenue growth at the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA). Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this key role blends analytics, financial modeling, and performance evaluation to deliver actionable insights that enhance decision-making at all levels of the organization.

What You'll Do

• Conduct financial and operational analyses to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Monitor and report on concessionaire performance, contract status, and revenue trends.
• Support the development and review of RFPs and procurement bids with financial analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain key performance indicators, dashboards, and strategic reporting tools.
• Contribute to annual revenue and O&M budget planning, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Support IT and data-related initiatives by documenting needs, enhancing tools, and improving reporting workflows.
• Serve as an internal consultant on data-driven strategy, financial planning, and project execution.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Revenue Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, program and performance analysis, operational or quantitative analysis or strategic planning.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools
• Project management experience
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex data in simple, impactful ways.
• Collaborative spirit with experience supporting cross-functional teams and leadership initiatives.

Bonus if You Have

• Airport or aviation industry experience.
• Familiarity with airport concessions, finance, or maintenance analytics.
• Project management experience or certification.

Special Requirements

• Valid Virginia driver's license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Must meet TSA security requirements for unescorted access to the Airport Secure Area.
