- Perform meticulous inspections of materials, parts, and products in various stages of production - from receiving to final output.
- Apply advanced measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Generate essential documentation like First Article Inspection Reports and Certificates of Conformance for shipments.
- Proactively identify and report non-conforming items through established work instructions.
- Provide valuable insights during process audits and customer inspections.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve drawing discrepancies.
- Maintain high standards in safety and cleanliness.
- Participate in collaborative training initiatives.
- Accurately manage data inputs into ERP systems.
- Balancing priorities in a dynamic team environment.
- Expertise with inspection tools and CAD drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning software.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO9001.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- 3+ years of inspecting experience, particularly with AS9100 requirements.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing is advantageous.
- Ability to handle physical demands with regular activities involving standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
