Majestic Care’s Social Services Assistants assist the Social Services Assistant in assessing, planning, coordinating, and implementing services to enhance our resident's social and psycho-social wellbeing. Other duties may include, but not limited to:

Majestic Care’s Social Services Assistants assist the Social Services Assistant in assessing, planning, coordinating, and implementing services to enhance our resident's social and psycho-social wellbeing. Other duties may include, but not limited to:
- Advocate for residents, working with the Executive Director and DNS to obtain the resources necessary to reach each resident's goals.
- Remains informed of federal, state, and local regulations which are pertinent to the operation of residential health care facilities.
- Direct, oversee and evaluate all social service aspects of the facility and each resident’s behavior on a case-by-case basis.
- Identify problems, find solutions, and work together with the facility team to implement them.
- Assist with resident needs/requests in addition to care planning and MDS assessments.
- Schedule discharges/insurance discharges.
- Have previous skilled nursing home experience.
- Be responsible and assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided at all times
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
- Experience with PCC (of similar EMR experience)
