Inventory Specialist

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance among truck drivers regarding documentation, PPE, goods condition, and delivery schedules. Accept or reject shipments per Strata policies.
• Conduct physical counts of incoming materials and verify paperwork against deliveries, noting discrepancies before signing.
• Record received quantities into ViewPoint and scan all proof-of-delivery documents (BOLs, manifests, packing slips).
• Perform cycle and physical inventory counts as scheduled.
• Report trucking issues (late shipments, unexpected truck quantities) to Corporate Logistics.
• Maintain inventory reports and communicate regularly with Corporate Logistics, Purchasing, and the Warehouse Manager.
• Ensure timely processing of the Material Pull List and transactions in ViewPoint to support PO requisitions and restocking.
• Complete all transactions in ViewPoint on the same day they occur.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of inventory experience.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability for accuracy.
• Must be able to interact well with others in multiple positions.
• Must be a safety conscious individual and able to adhere to company safety standards.
  
  

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse/field environment. May be required to drive company vehicle when delivering material, must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to lifting up to 50 lbs, twist, bend and stand for more than 1 hour. Overtime may be necessary, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
