Machining Lead

Location: Anaheim, CA

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: Minimum 5 years in CNC Machining, Must be able to run MasterCAM

Expected Hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills and lathes to execute precision machining processes.
• Work with precision by interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Optimize performance by monitoring and adjusting machine settings to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
• Inspect with precision using micrometers, calipers, and other standard measuring tools to ensure all finished products meet strict quality standards.
• Maintain peak machine efficiency by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate and innovate with the production team to streamline machining processes and maximize productivity.
• Dual Role: The working lead is both a frontline worker and a supervisor, bridging the gap between management and the shop floor.
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication.
• Must be able to run MasterCAM.
• Strong proficiency in setting up and operating 3-axis CNC mills & lathes.
• Experience with Hurco machines is a strong plus.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and quality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a high-performing team.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively
• Ability to critically think and problem solve
• Ability to work independently
