You’ll oversee production efficiency, workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance—ensuring both business goals and team well-being are met.
What you'll do
Operations Management
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure productivity, safety, and quality targets are met.
- Monitor KPIs and production metrics, implementing improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation across departments.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, supply chain, and vendor relationships.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for plant and administrative staff.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes in collaboration with HR or legal advisors.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace safety standards (OSHA), and company policies.
- Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and timekeeping systems.
- Foster a positive, safety-first culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between frontline staff and executive leadership.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration between production, quality, HR, and logistics teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, HR, or related field (MBA or HR certification is a plus)
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals and employment law
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage P&L
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with Rippling preferred
