Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities and skills required of this position. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of Collections Department policies, procedures, and planning, which effectively minimize the credit union’s credit risk and loan losses and ensure the practices are in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient administration and performance of all Collections functions, including managing delinquency and charge-off ratios to achieve credit union objectives.
- Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relationships are established and maintained with members, the community, and with trade and governmental organizations.
- Effectively supervises Department personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and with management in furtherance of the credit union's strategic priorities.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
