Culmen International is looking for a Training Coordinator to support a USAMRIID program at Fort Detrick, MD.
The Training Coordinator manages onboarding, technical competency assessments, and regulatory training logistics. Works closely with scientific leadership to schedule, document, and monitor completion of critical training requirements.

The Training Coordinator manages onboarding, technical competency assessments, and regulatory training logistics. Works closely with scientific leadership to schedule, document, and monitor completion of critical training requirements.
What You’ll Do In Your New Role
- Schedule and track mandatory and elective training for staff.
- Maintain training records and prepare audit documentation.
- Assist in developing training SOPs and instructional materials.
- Coordinate hands-on lab and safety training sessions.
- Liaise with safety, biosurety, and quality personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, lab sciences, or a related field. 5+ years coordinating training or support in a laboratory or regulatory environment.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and enroll in the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP), if required.
- Certification in training management or adult education preferred.
