General Summary

Responsible for moderately complex to more highly complex functions of community corrections work. Oversees staff to ensure compliance with unit policies and procedures of work being completed. Provides communication with supervisor to assist in evaluation of performance appraisals. Provides coverage in various locations when line staff are unavailable. May conduct assessments, interviews, or case management services as needed. Assists in the training of new staff Specific activities and work schedule vary depending upon area assigned. Utilizes current Countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a preferred major in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field of study.
  • Have had two (2) years of full-time pretrial, casework or related work experience involving interviewing and investigative practices, procedures, and recommendations.
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license.

Special Requirements

  • Must maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's or chauffeur’s license.
  • Must pass a background check performed by the County or other appropriate agencies as required.

Pay Range

USD $70,191.00 - USD $94,044.00 /Yr.
