Position Summary
The Recruitment and Retention Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert on recruitment retention trends within the organization. This role will work closely with other members of the Human Resources team to develop strategies for sourcing, hiring, and retaining top talent while enhancing employee satisfaction, engagement, and longevity. This role will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting trends in data for various HR metrics. The Recruitment and Retention Specialist will use the information to create and present strategies to provide business support and increase the overall impact of recruitment and longevity of retention.
EDUCATION
A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, human resources, information technology, or related field required, or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
Experience
Experience in recruitment, retention, or talent management in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Work is completed primarily indoors, in an office environment. Significant sitting and typing. Some standing, walking, bending/lifting (up to 25 lbs.), and pushing objects required. Work will primarily be weekday, daytime hours. Requires significant analytical effort.

- Proficiency in at least one commercial HRIS product
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills including written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow issues through from identification through completion
- General knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Performs other duties as assigned
