Line Cook

Description

Do you consider yourself a food service fanatic? Do you enjoy seeing the smile on a customer's face when they have been served delicious food that YOU made? Iron Skillet, located in Joplin 44 Petro, is looking for motivated Line Cooks to join their team.

This is a full time position. You must be able to work any shift. We are open 24 hours.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Excellent food preparation and presentation
• Close attention to detail, accuracy, and speed!
• Make cleanliness and safety a top priority
• A team player
• Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
  
  

Responsibilities

• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Plating prepared foods
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
• Working with waitress and waiters to ensure that orders are completed accurately
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and guidelines
• Cooking menu items in cooperation with other members of kitchen staff
