Description Of Duties

Title: Sr. Logistics Coordinator

Classification: Nonexempt

Hourly Range*: $28.84/hr - $31.25/hr

Working Hours*: Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm

Schedule*: Onsite

Location: Van Nuys, CA

The Sr. Logistics Coordinator is a key member in assisting with the day-to-day functions of our DTC business based in our HQ. Responsibilities will range from assisting with updating shipment details in the ERP system, inventory management, and communicating with logistics partners. They will support the Director of Logistics reporting any delays or inventory issues. Attention to detail, accuracy, and maintaining efficiency are important for this position. Our Logistics Manager is a very important role in the day-to-day functions of the company. The responsibilities below show a glimpse into the role's key functions and the impactful contributions this position makes.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supports Director of Logistics with managing logistics of Third-Party Partner and Vendor shipments.
  • Assists with managing bulk production receiving process, verifying counts, coordinating delivery of production fit approvals, and QC findings.
  • Assist with issuing and documenting credit memos and chargebacks.
  • Assist with verifying and submitting vendor shipping documents to Accounting Dept on all production shipments for on time payment to vendors (Packets / Uploads).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments.
  • Assist the Director of Logistics with maintaining a log of all FedEx/DHL claims on 71 lbs.
  • Assist team with our new Duty Drawback Program in gathering all the required documents.
  • FedEx Invoice Auditing as needed.
  • Filing claims on lost and damaged shipments and following up.
  • Receiving Inventory and ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with manager, co-workers and other personnel.
  • Able to follow set procedures and help identify improvements/ gaps.
  • Ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while preserving a sense of urgency.
  • ERP – Netsuite /WMS/Shopify/ShipStation experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with FedEx Manager.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where managing multiple tasks is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HTS codes, and Automated Customs Environment (ACE), AES filing requirements a plus.
  • Flexible, highly organized and a team player.
  • Intermediate Excel Skills preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
  • Periods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computer.
  • Able to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time.
  • Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones.
  • Must be able to access various areas of a given location.
