JOB SUMMARY: Managing the onsite staff and onsite linen deliveries while meeting Distribution metrics of staffing levels at 100%, PPOH & profit margins.
Essential Functions
HLSG currently operates 11 state-of-the-art laundry processing facilities in four states delivering over 185 million pounds of assorted quality linens into both the healthcare and hospitality markets. Essential Functions
- Reports to the Regional Distribution Manager.
- Delivers clean linen cart to all units.
- Track linen usage in linen utilization software.
- Complies with HLSG Linen Distribution policies and procedures.
- Maintains inventory records.
- Count and pack carts accurately with the needed quantities.
- Fill out paperwork accurately.
- Correctly use handheld device and upload information.
- Keep work area/linen room clean and place additional empty carts in their proper place.
- Creates and manages staff schedules.
- Manages staffs time and PTO requests through ADP.
- Supervises linen staff.
- Accomplish daily tasks at the time given by Management.
- Order linen orders and communicate with the laundry plant.
- Must be able to take and follow direction.
- Maintain acceptable body hygiene and appearance per employee Handbook and client location standards.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Physically able to lift, push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, and move rolling carts (up to 600+ lbs.) throughout the day, with ability to load linen above one’s head and from ground level to standing upright.
- Physically able to collect and lift soiled bags throughout the facility.
- Pack at a speed to complete 20+ exchange carts per day.
- Distinguish between different linen items through touch and vision.
- Able to complete duties accurately.
- Must be able to read and write English and accurately perform simple mathematics.
- Must be punctual.
- Must understand and observe all safety guidelines and recommendations.
