Job Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A driver’s license in good standing.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass criminal background and professional reference checks.
  • Previous home care experience (required)
  • Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred); Home Health Aide (required).
  • Supportive Home Care Aide certification is a plus
  • Ability to respect the confidentiality of patients and families


Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining positive working relationships with clients, families, and our office team.
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities outlined in their personalized care plans.
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, incontinence care, and feeding.
  • Assisting with transfers, ambulation, and lifting devices when needed.
  • Prepare meals and do light housekeeping, including laundry.
  • Grocery shopping and running quick local errands.
  • Offering companionship.
  • Promoting each client’s dignity by ensuring privacy and treating them with respect.
  • Providing one-on-one assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
  • Reminding clients to take their medications.
  • Fulfilling other essential duties listed in the clients' care plans.
