We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist who will be responsible for testing and inspection of all aggregate products produced and delivered to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and have a good working knowledge of the basic specifications, principles, and products associated with the welding/fabricating process.
- Assess effectiveness and maximize productivity and quality opportunities that lead to continuous improvement.
- Communicate across all departments to enhance the teamwork essential to consistently producing quality products.
- Inspect products for quality, identify and take corrective action as necessary.
- Review and analyze test results to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications as required.
- Ensure all quality control operations and activities are conducted in conformance with company policies, regulatory agencies and acceptable working practices are in compliance with standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read calipers and micrometers.
- Excellent tape measuring skills and basic math skills.
- Ability to read blueprints (or willingness to learn) helpful, but not required.
- High school machine shop experience or previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
