Job Functions/Duties (may be assigned other duties by management)

  • Develop plans to achieve growth by specific customers through a combination of market intelligence, analytics, and customer intimacy.
  • Develop a business plan targeting specific markets and/or customers with product needs that align with Levare capabilities and implement targeted marketing efforts
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of assigned organization based on approved budget.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales. Ensure that sales personnel update regularly sales/account plans with current market data
  • Research and identify potential customers, follow up and qualify leads.
  • Implement use of technology and social networking media to develop new business opportunities.
  • Recommend product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line
  • Represent company at industry association meetings to promote product
  • Participate in development and research activities building on company strengths, identify potential new markets and business opportunities, increase share of market, and obtain a competitive position in the industry.
  • Expand current client relationships through additional business lines or expanding existing relationships.
  • Develop relationships with competitors and vendors to enhance business opportunities through strategic alliance.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all business product lines for detailed, accurate and professional representation to prospective clients. Organize, create and deliver client presentations.
  • Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop assigned staff.
  • Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.

Qualifications/Education Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or company specific databases.
  • Proven ability and desire to sell.
  • Understand the technical details and concepts of product or products
  • High level of accuracy and time management required
  • Good oral and written communication and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work well with stringent deadlines and possess good organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field required or equivalent years of directly related experience.
  • 15+ years of sales and customer service experience required.
  • Management or supervisory experience required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Normal office environment and occasional exposure to plant environment during the course of normal job duties

Continuously Required To Move About The Facility

Occasional travel and On call required

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, hard hat and safety shoes while in shop environment or on job site.
