Account Executive (Sake Development)

Position Summary

A Japanese food trading corporation is seeking an Account Executive (Fresh Fish) to join their team. This role involves meeting sales targets, managing accounts, coordinating logistics, and providing excellent customer support. It also includes participating in marketing activities and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales quotas and develop new business relationships, managing existing accounts.
• Coordinate weekly logistics operations for West Coast shipments, including tracking and documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse and drivers on delivery routes based on customer requests.
• Provide customer support and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare and update sales materials and participate in trade shows/events.
• Assist accounting with timely collection of payments and analyze sales data.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of food wholesale/distribution experience required, preferably in the fish wholesale industry.
• Business Level Japanese required; Native level Japanese preferred – Read/write/speak/listen.
• Business level English – Read/write/speak/listen.
• Has basic Microsoft Office proficiency
• Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, markup and discount calculations, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
  
  
  

BASE SALARY USD70,000-85,000 Base (DOE) + Discretionary Bonus
