Summary:
The Associate Product Manager works with the Product Management team to support ongoing product development initiatives by assisting Product Managers in planning, guiding, and delivering new products successfully.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience

Summary:
The Associate Product Manager works with the Product Management team to support ongoing product development initiatives by assisting Product Managers in planning, guiding, and delivering new products successfully.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Works with Product Managers to gather and define product requirements
- Analyzes product / customer data to help inform Product Management decisions
- Analyzes competition across product lines, proactively monitoring competitive offerings
- Conducts market research to identify customer needs and make recommendations for new or existing products
- Coordinates with Marketing team to manage collateral needs (data sheets, manuals, labels, etc.) for new and existing products
- Works with Product Managers in coordinating product launch activities
- Coordinates with Business Systems to manage new item setup activities
- Manages End of Life activities for existing products
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related technical discipline, or equivalent and relevant work experience required
- General understanding of financial modeling
- Demonstrated strategic thinker with the ability to implement tactically
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, suppliers and vendors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish task focused goals and objectives for self
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed
