- Manage the background check process and check employee eligibility verifications
- Implement new hire orientations as well as establish employee recognition programs
- Perform employee onboarding, offboarding as well as assist with benefits, leaves and compensation reviews
- Review and conduct disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies
- Handle employee related inquiries, applicants, employees and supervisors
- Manage HR audits, employee files, PTO balances, licenses, and certifications
- Handles confidential files, documents
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
- Develops, implements, and maintains HR policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of human resource experience preferred.
