In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with residents to help restore independence, improve quality of life, and support their journey to recovery in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents and develop personalized treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
- Select activities designed to help residents achieve greater independence in daily tasks.
- Monitor and guide residents as they perform assigned tasks.
- Observe and assess residents' progress, providing detailed reports of findings.
- Assist in rehabilitating residents with disabilities due to injury, illness, or other challenges.
- Safeguard resident confidentiality by ensuring proper handling of sensitive information.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care services by auditing records regularly.
- Foster a collaborative environment by maintaining strong relationships with healthcare teams.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Florida State Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
