What You’ll Do:
- Ensuring completeness of medical records and filing accordingly.
- Complete patient check-in, verify and update all demographic and insurance information and collection of co- payments.
- Support surgical scheduling, verify insurance eligibility etc.
- Obtaining pre-operative screening results, including EKGs, lab work, history and physicals from primary care offices.
- Daily processing of incoming mail.
- Data entry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous healthcare industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite preferred.
- Detail oriented, well-organized individual with ability to multitask and prioritize to address multiple needs simultaneously.
- Capacity to work with and without supervision and perform a variety of routine tasks.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on all patient matters.
