About The Position

As an Entry-Level Contracts Administrator, you will support Sectra’s contracts by assisting with new order bookings and processing, including adding orders to Replicon and assigning them to the project team. You will ensure contracts are fair, legally compliant, and align with company objectives. Your role will involve maintaining the Contract Register, exploring options for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and implementing monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) increases to customers, providing letters of change in price based on contract language. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to negotiate and manage contracts efficiently while mitigating risks. This position is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of contract management who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

In this position, you'll actively explore and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline contract processes, automate internal workflows, and manage compliance controls efficiently. Whether adopting commercial AI solutions or evolving internal projects, you'll help shape our AI-first approach to contracting and process optimization, collaborating closely with global resources and cross-functional teams.

This position is based in our Shelton, CT office.

As a Contracts Administrator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and maintain a basic understanding of Sectra’s products, services, and future offerings.
  • Maintain all contract templates and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain the Contract Register and explore options for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
  • Track contract milestones and deadlines.
  • Assist in managing the lifecycle of standard contracts, ensuring they remain valid and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on contract priorities.
  • Maintain full documentation and audit trails for all contract activities.
  • Assist with new order bookings and processing, including adding orders to Replicon and assigning them to the project team.
  • Implement monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) increases to customers and provide letters of change in price based on contract language.

As a Contracts Administrator, the following requirements apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; paralegal certification or legal education is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of contract law, legal best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in managing contract lifecycle processes, including version control and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to work out of our Shelton, CT office.
  • Ability to travel as required (up to 25%).

Preferred experience, not required:

  • Familiarity with contract management systems (CLM tools).
  • Background in healthcare IT or medical technology industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based contract solutions.
  • Experience working with international teams or organizations.

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000, based on experience and qualifications.
