About The Role

The Warehouse and Transportation Assistant at InterAtlas Logistics will support the Vice President and office staff while also working directly with InterAtlas Chemical in Canada. Key responsibilities include administrative and clerical tasks such as assisting the VP, preparing and sending documents, managing mail, performing reception duties, organizing files, and ensuring efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, strong practical knowledge, and self-discipline. The ideal candidate will face challenges head-on, maintain attentiveness, and consistently deliver highly accurate work.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Providing direct assistant to the Vice President with daily schedule, maintenance of paperwork and assisting with a wide variety of administrative tasks.
  • Assisting Human Resources with conducting pre-screens and scheduling interviews, processing paperwork, and document retention.
  • Providing office administrative and clerical tasks such as, but not limited to, handling mail, filing paperwork, scanning documents, office supply ordering, and maintaining office cleanliness.
  • Reception duties as they may occur, including answering phone calls and/or emails, welcoming visitors and ushering them into the office.
  • Provide direct contact and communication between InterAtlas Logistics and InterAtlas Chemical.
  • Contributing to company culture and morale.

Qualifications That Are Important To Us

  • Strong background in Logistics, Warehousing and Transportation is necessary
  • High school diploma or higher
  • At least 2 years’ experience and/or training in a service-related industry
  • Time management skills and ability to manage multiple orders at once
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent follow up skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Well experienced using software technology, such as e-mail, Microsoft Office, etc
  • Excellent at working in a team environment, with an active role in their own development by integrating coaching/feedback on performance into daily routines
