NexGen is currently seeking a Technical Recruiter II. The Technical Recruiter
is responsible for sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of
qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online
and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce
our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
Confer with Management and Supervisors to identify personnel needs,
job specifications, job duties, and KSA's (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities).
Review And Edit Job Descriptions.
Write and publish job postings in various media.
Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source
qualified candidates.
Utilize diverse recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates by
sourcing various job boards, professional organizations, professional
internet sites, google sites, social media, and other internet sites.
Initiate contact with potentially qualified candidates for specific job
openings and maintain candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System.
Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities.
Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history,
Education, Training, Job Skills And Salary Requirements.
Coordinate communications with applicants including scheduling
interviews.
Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings
to passive candidates.
Contact and maintain relationships with Corp-to-Corp partners and
subcontractors.
Create and maintain SharePoint folders.
Work on special projects as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
Technical Skills
3-5 years' of work experience as a Technical Recruiter.
Familiarity with remote interviews (e.g.,
telephone,?Zoom, and?Microsoft Teams).
Familiarity with job requirements for IT roles.
Familiarity with Indeed.com for Employers, ZipRecruiter, DICE, and
LinkedIn.
Familiarity with sourcing techniques (e.g., social media
recruiting, Boolean searches, and AI).
Desired Skills
Working knowledge of social media as it applies to human resources
management.
Working knowledge within the federal government space.
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Pursuit of professional growth, continuing education
classes/webinars, and available industry certifications.
Solid understanding of EOE, HR practices, and labor legislation.
Additional Requirements
Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
Ability to increase diversity and inclusion in the workplace by proactively
seeking employees from a range of backgrounds and experiences.
Strong oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving
skills, and a team player.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 50x25 (50 MBPS download
x 25 MBPS upload) is required.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect sensitive but
unclassified federal information.
The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior
to employment.
US Citizenship, or legal permanent residence, or US work authorization
with minimum 3 years of continuous US presence is required due to federal
contract requirements.
