Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to support the Rebuild Florida Housing Repair and Replacement Program (HRRP), which helps homeowners recover from Hurricane Ian. In this applicant-facing role, you’ll guide applicants through the applicant process – from intake to eligibility assessment – while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate case records.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist applicants with program applications, contract signings, and pre-construction meetings
  • Assist applicants with application process from intake through project closeout
  • Provide clear and empathetic communication to applicants on application status, next steps, and requirements
  • Collect and review documentation for eligibility determinations
  • Maintain accurate case records and notes in proprietary systems
  • Interpret and apply program policies in decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly
  • Meet daily processing goals and program deadlines in a high-volume setting
  • Adapt quickly to changes in program protocols, software, or timelines
  • Deliver consistent and professional support to all stakeholders
  • Work weekends or extended hours as needed
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as needed


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in administrative, case management, or processing roles
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel locally as needed
  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle


Work Environment

  • Position is based on site in HORNE office

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer


Travel Requirements

  • Driving for firm business possible; would require valid operator license, acceptable motor vehicle report and automobile insurance as required by law and firm guidelines
