The Opportunity

Our CNC Machinists are responsible for the setup and operation of our state-of-the-art CNC machinery, as well as the quality of the industry leading tools we produce. We are currently hiring for our second shift. Under direct supervision, the CNC Machinist will provide support to the CNC production department.

In This Role, You Will

• Setup/edit/maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding machines.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspection of product.
• Setup and operate within established cycle times.
• Assist coworkers in keeping equipment running efficiently.
• Utilize precision and inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc…
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

You’ll Bring

• Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a CNC Tool Cutter preferred
• Demonstrated ability to follow Engineering documented including but not limited to:
• Geometry specification sheets
• Product drawings
• Job routers
• Process sheets
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability for attention to details.
• Basic mathematical aptitude.
• Occasional climbing stairs, regularly standing, frequently walking, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
