Heatherwood is seeking an entry level IT Support Specialist to join our collaborative and service-focused IT team. This role provides technical support and IT solutions to internal users across multiple departments, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide front-line IT support via helpdesk tickets, phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across systems.
  • Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including hardware setup and account provisioning.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to address technical needs at company properties.
  • Provide occasional on-site support at Heatherwood properties (local travel 20%).
  • Support IT team projects, including new system rollouts and technology improvements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 1 year of IT support or helpdesk experience.
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel to company properties.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a property management or construction environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Office 365 administration, and basic networking concepts.
  • Exposure to tools such as Yardi or similar.
  • Printer setup and configuration.
  • Knowledge of VOIP systems and wireless network troubleshooting.
  • Apple MDM, iOS
