Member First Mortgage is seeking a Reconciliations Specialist for our growing Accounting team! This role provides support to the investor accounting function through maintenance of reconciliations, accounting records, and reports. Performs routine assigned tasks within the Accounting Department according to established procedures. Qualifications

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for daily reconciliation of Daily Clearing and Disbursement Clearing accounts. Performs monthly reconciliation of other cash accounts. Performs daily balancing, transfers, and settlements.
  • Handles unclaimed property reporting and other monthly settlements, such as Corporate and Escrow Advance & CU P&I. Resolves investor issues.
  • Provides support to other accounting areas, as needed.


Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge of accounting functions and processes.
  • Ability to research and keep up to date with investor rules and guidelines.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under strict timelines with few errors and limited supervision.
  • Must have skills in general Office applications including Excel
  • Strong organizational skills.


Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to spend extended hours in front of a computer screen, to use hand to finger, to speak in and listen carefully on the telephone.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a remote office setting.
