As an empowered team member and leader, knowledgeable in the business, who deploys best practices to facilitate the elicitation, organization and documentation of business requirements in an Agile/Scrum environment working with members of assigned business units.

The salary range for this position is $110K to $115K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

Job Roles And Responsibilities
- Actively solicit, analyze and negotiate customer requirements in order to ensure that the project team can develop solutions that meet the customer's real needs; minimize requirement defects up front following standard processes, establish and maintain agreement between the customer and team on all required project deliverables.
- Manage multiple priorities, customer expectations and relationships with all stakeholders. Manage relationships with customers, project managers, and any/all levels of management.
- Meet and work with project business sponsors, software end-users, applications development staff, and others as necessary to perform assignments. Conduct meetings with business stakeholders to actively solicit, analyze and negotiate customer requirements. Obtain signoff on business requirements.
- Attend all team level events and serve as backup for the Product Owner or Scrum Master as needed in Scrum team events.
- Solicit input from developers and other technical staff to determine level of effort required to complete tasks and from business community to define scope.
- Assist with Roadmap Planning, Release Planning and Sprint Planning as needed by providing insight into priorities, dependencies, and risks.
- Work with the development team to refine requirements through grooming sessions ensuring that all requirements are properly documented, using Gherkin format when necessary and meeting the Definition of Ready
- Support customer in training efforts for end users and staff members.
- Mentor junior staff members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, And Training)
- Must have 5 years experience as a Business Analyst. Experience in a Project Management Organization preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing project management methodologies and requirements definition and management practices.
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with healthcare claim processing.
- Knowledge of a broad range of development methodologies and best practices for requirements definition and management including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile/Scrum, particularly Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Knowledge of DevOps, Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development
- Expert-level business analysis, system analysis and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning and technical skills
- Ability to lead, develop, mentor and coach team
- Ability to use software and peripherals related to performance of job responsibilities including Jira, Confluence, MS Office Tools, Visio, Lucid, Miro and others as needed
- Ability to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvements
- Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and follow through
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities for self and staff as business needs dictate
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers
- Ability to be flexible and creative in problem solving and identifying process improvements
- Ability to anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind-set
- Ability to recognize and apply project management, business analysis and system analysis best practices to fit a variety of situations.
- Minimum Bachelors degree. Certifications like CCBA or CBAP or Agile Role certifications like CSM or CSPO preferred.
