Position Type: Part-TimeMonday and Wednesday 230pm-630pm; Friday, Sat and Sun- 10am -2pm

Pay Rate: $15/hour

Are you an energetic and creative individual passionate about enhancing the lives of others? Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is looking for an Activities Assistant to join our team and bring joy to our residents through engaging recreation programs!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement recreation programs for residents.
• Conduct interviews with residents and families to gather recreation preferences.
• Organize and oversee group activities such as games, crafts, and social events.
• Support residents’ physical, social, and mental well-being through tailored activities.
• Assist with preparing and cleaning up recreation areas before and after events.
• Encourage participation to ensure all residents feel included and engaged.
• Visit residents in their rooms to provide companionship and assist with crafts or letters.
• Maintain recreation supplies efficiently and recommend needed equipment to supervisors.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative, with a passion for working with the elderly.
• Strong organizational skills and a team-player mindset.
• Previous experience working with a geriatric/adult population preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
