RN, Registered Nurse - NICU

The Nurse in this role practices independently, providing routine and complex care while developing skills to manage clinical contingencies. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, and educating patients and caregivers. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient throughput and flow, managing unit operations, and maintaining safe practice and quality care. Technical competencies include following clinical standards, health information documentation, medical equipment use, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and ensuring patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competency verification requirements, and preferred experience in a Perinatal setting. Work schedule is 7PM - 7AM, full-time position.
