MDS Consultant Description:

• Attends weekly meetings and provide oversight on reimbursement processes in the facility (CMI / Medicare), tracking CMI / PDPM on an ongoing basis
• Assist the building in documentation practices that ensure appropriate reimbursement
• Ongoing training/education MDS/Restorative Nurses
• Audit MDS assessments for accuracy on an ongoing basis
• Oversight of Quality Measures
• Ensure best practices/compliance with all State and Federal regulations
• Other special projects depending on facility need
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must be able to manage multiple facilities and wiling to travel/visit facilities in the Chicagoland area
• Must possess, a RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Must have, as a minimum, 2 years of experience in a corporate MDS/consultant role.
