Staff Accountant
Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will provide accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits.
Responsibilities
Full charge accounting experience
Experience should include AP, AR, billing, reconciliations, monthly reporting, and recording and reconciling credit card charges.
Able to produce accurate daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Analyze expenses and report unusual activity.
Various assigned GL reconciliations.
Ad hoc reporting.
Research bank positive pay items.
Maintain Vendor records for accurate payables and W-9 collection, and assist in 1099 annual filings.
Assist with projects and initiatives as assigned by the Controller.
Assists with preparation for audits.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in accounting software -QuickBooks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Advanced Excel, specifically with Pivot tables and formulas
- 5 years of accounting experience preferred.
- AA/AS degree or higher
