QC Admin II- Materials Coordinator

You will be responsible for leading coordination and distribution of materials in and out of Quality Control. This function includes but is not limited to support of materials relating to testing of raw materials, in-process analysis, GMP release, and any additional analytical testing.You will also be responsible for sample/ chemical receipt, inventory control, coordination of required testing, administration of outsourced testing, and tracking of sample metrics.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform timely receipt of incoming samples for analytical testing while ensuring sample integrity
  • Accurate and timely Smartsheet integration of samples received
  • Perform Raw Material label creation and cross functional coordination with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing
  • Responsible for oversight of receipt and inventory of chemical reagents
  • Ensures chemical availability at time of need
  • Promotes compliance by removal of expired or empty inventory
  • Updates current inventory log and ensures accuracy of database entries
  • Maintains departmental sample metrics and routinely reports to department leadership
  • Conducts scanning and filling of associated documentation
  • Promotes overall cleanliness and neatness of lab and storage areas
  • Communicates problems or potential issues in a timely manner
  • Review of testing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Proactively communicates with department leadership on issues or improvements
  • Maintain an understanding of cGMP and compliance in an analytical setting
  • Monitor and complete all business tasks within timeframe to ensure optimal quality and efficiency
  • Perform upkeep of employee training records
  • Prepare and align individual performance goals with department goals
  • Complete company-required training programs
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance as outlined in the company's Standard Operating Procedures, Chemical Hygiene Plan, Emergency Contingency Plan, training memoranda, policy memoranda, Safety Data Sheets, Specification Records, etc.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or supply chain management discipline is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory processes and practices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and reliability
  • Proficient in basic applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Intermediate math skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-motivated
  • Good understanding of cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to promote and develop cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and work independently
  • This position is active and requires walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping
  • Employee must be able to bend at the waist and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
