We’re seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. You’ll undergo a comprehensive 4–8-week training program at our Temecula clinic—immersing yourself in our clinical protocols, lab operations, and functional medicine services—then transition to lead medication administration, lab operations, and patient support at the San Marcos grand opening.

Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. You’ll undergo a comprehensive 4–8-week training program at our Temecula clinic—immersing yourself in our clinical protocols, lab operations, and functional medicine services—then transition to lead medication administration, lab operations, and patient support at the San Marcos grand opening.
Key Responsibilities
- Medication Administration:
- Administer oral and injectable medications under provider delegation.
- Monitor patient vital signs, observe for adverse reactions, and escalate concerns promptly
- Functional Medicine Support:
- Assist in functional medicine protocols (e.g., supplement dosing, IV therapies)
- Educate patients on their treatment plans and answer questions in collaboration with NPs and MDs
- Laboratory Operations:
- Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing (glucose, lipid panels, hormone assays)
- Process, label, and prepare specimens for external labs; maintain chain-of-custody and CLIA compliance
- Calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment; monitor inventory and order reagents/supplies
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Accurately chart all patient encounters, medication logs, and lab results in the EMR
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with providers, RNs, medical assistants, and administrative staff to optimize patient flow
- Participate in case reviews, quality-improvement meetings, and protocol development
- Orientation & Clinical Training (4–8 weeks, Temecula):
- Hands-on mentorship with our Medical Director and Senior Paramedic
- Shadowing across medication protocols, IV suites, and lab workflows
- EMR training, compliance review, and patient-education standards
- Launch Support (San Marcos Grand Opening):
- Lead setup of lab space, point-of-care stations, and medication storage
- Train new support staff on lab and medication processes
- Serve as clinical operations liaison during the opening phase
- Valid California Paramedic License (EMT-P) and current DEA registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Phlebotomy certification or demonstrated lab-tech experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of direct patient-care experience in EMS, urgent care, or lab setting
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and patient-education abilities
