Description
Job Duties: Design and create technical and architectural drawings and prints to bring new concepts, components and equipment to life. Assist with drafting, surveying, and interpreting blueprints. Work with technical team on finding and consulting all technical alternatives and solutions related to any project in ERW/SRM plant and utilities. Test and make improvements to product designs and manufacturing processes. Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing, maintenance, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers. Prepare technical specifications for purchase orders and contracts. Design and assist manufacturing the new machine, processes, equipment and tools. Assist in implementing annual investment plan in time and budget. Design complete plant layouts using AutoCad and 3D modeling. Design the assembly and manufacturing shop floor drawings of any type of project related to ERW/SRM machinery or equipment. Utilize “Finite Element” method to calculate, analyze, and develop equipment and tools. Ensure technical drawings are up to date and archived for all plant’s machinery and equipment. Apply sound engineering principles in the development and documentation of products and provide direct instructions and guidelines. Ensure deliverables are reasonable for project execution. Assist with maintaining schedules through interaction with HSE, Operation, quality and maintenance. Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs. Apply principles of mechanics thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials. Design and modify equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components. Create and refine technical mechanical parts and assembly drawings to capture design intent and document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals of a project. Create and refine complex mechanical components including sourcing, volume models, key performance parameters, etc.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design or related field, and 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer or related occupation. Position also requires 5 years of experience with:

- CAD software packages including Inventor, Fusion 360 or Solid Works
- Equipment design and equipment manufacturing processes and tools
- Electrical and hydraulic schematics and PNID
- ASME Material and Quality standards
- Review finite elements methods
- Analyzing prototypes and product modifications
