JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The Design Engineer II is
responsible for designing and detailing the mechanical systems for Regal
Rexnord Automation Solutions machinery. This position will be
responsible for the design, assembly and manufacturing standards to
ensure assembly and operation of the machinery meet all the criteria set
by the customer and by Regal Rexnord Automation Solutions. Major
Responsibilities: Produce error free, cost-effective drawings. These
include: System layout Component drawings, detailed to ensure quality
and safety Detailed equipment drawings highlighting expected performance
Meet timelines given for assignments. Generate detailed ECNs as required
Generate detailed ERNs as required Complete on time the design and
detailing of all work orders assigned on a project Handle copy designs,
detail work, small brackets/small calculations, and special purchase
parts. Support the Control Center and Manufacturing teams on updating
files to ensure accuracy in manufacturing Meet frequently with Project
Engineering lead, Manufacturing, Control Center and Shipping to ensure
timely execution of projects Participate in MPR, Manufacturing Walks and
TRMs as assigned Perform all other duties and responsibilities, as
required. Required Education / Experience / Skills: General supervision:
routine duties are performed with minimal supervision. standard
practices or procedures allow me to proceed alone at routine work.
occasional check of work while in progress. work is reviewed upon
completion. Engineering degree from four-year institution, Associate
degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. or
two (2) to five (5) years of related experience and/or training. or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work with
mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and
fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to
apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal
with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Demonstrated use
of intermediate software packages, (word processing, spreadsheet,
graphics, etc.) Handle multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in
AutoCAD, Inventor Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug
