Responsibilities

  • Cultivating meaningful relationships with staff, patients, and their families
  • Ensuring that everyone feels welcome and comfortable throughout their experience
  • Greeting patients, checking them in and out, and collecting payments
  • Using phone and computer to arrange appointments and manage patient schedule
  • Verifying insurance, submitting claims, and explaining coverage to patients
  • Providing patients with information about services and treatment plans
  • Managing patient communication and thank you notes for referrals
  • Maintaining updated stats and reports for staff and doctors
  • Assisting with social media accounts, postings, and correspondence
  • Restocking and ensuring cleanliness of the front office and reception
  • Contacting and working with vendors and community businesses
  • Setting up coworkers for success by knowing what they need and when they need it

  • Familiarity working with dental software, coding, and billing preferred
