Extrusion Quality Manager

Description

Extrusion Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance aspects of an Extrusion manufacturing process, ensuring that all produce products consistently meet established quality standards by implementing and monitoring quality control procedures analyzing data identifying issues and collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions all while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities May Include

Quality system development and implementation:

• Develop implement and maintain comprehensive quality management systems specifically tailored to the Extrusion process.
• Established quality metrics and standards for raw materials in process production and finished goods.
• Create and document quality control procedures for testing and inspection methods.
  
  

Quality Control Oversights

• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections throughout the extraction process to identify potential quality issues.
• Monitors and analyzed quality data identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Performs root cause analysis on nonconforming products to implement corrective action.
  
  

Team Leadership And Training

• Lead a team of quality inspectors and technicians providing training and development opportunities.
• Assigned tasks and responsibilities to ensure effective quality control throughout the production line.
  
  

Production Collaboration

• Works closely with production personnel to identify and address quality issues proactively.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize the extrusion process and equipment for improved quality.
  
  

Customer Interaction

• Address customer concerns related to product quality and work to resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with customers on quality audits and ensure compliance with their requirements.
  
  

Compliance Management

• Ensure adherence to relative industry standards and regulations e.g. FDA, ISO.
• Maintains accurate documentation of quality records and reports.
  
  

Requirements

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Extrusion manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Expertise and quality control mythologies statistical and analysis and data interpretations.
• Areas were quality management systems like ISO 9001.
• Leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise a quality team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to identify and address quality issues.
• Proficiency in relevant software and data analysis and reporting
