We are hiring a new Data Analyst to join our Suicide Prevention team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the analysis of program performance, meeting reporting expectations for grants/contracts, and identifying trends/patterns in program data that may require the attention and/or intervention of program leadership. You will work with Crisis Line Administration to perform internal audits and external reporting for outside agencies and funding sources and will track documentation, trends in call content and staffing, and create infrastructure to ensure clients receive the best and most appropriate care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Oversight and participation in data collection and reporting tasks regarding 988 contacts, local suicide prevention and crisis line contacts, and outpatient counseling services
  • Maintain data records and track trends on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis each year
  • Maintain monthly records of staff performance for specified programs, analyze trends, and provide data to program leadership
  • Submit reporting data to local, county, state, and federal contract and grant partners
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings, in-service meetings, and training as scheduled. Complete ongoing training assignments as required. Review email, announcements, resource books, manuals, and directories during each shift worked.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation and feedback to management, staff, and volunteers based on Buckelew Programs and the American Association of Suicidology best practice standards.
  • Act as representative of 988, Suicide Prevention Program, and Outpatient Counseling programs, as assigned by Program Director, in meetings, committees, and workgroups in support of meeting program goals
  • Provide support to the Program Director in other duties as needed to support the program.
  • Provide weekly reports to Program Director regarding trends, patterns, areas for improvement, and program needs as indicated by data analysis
  • Coordinate with the Administrative Assistant and Leadership in planning, coordinating, and implementing new systems that support more detailed data tracking and analysis.
  • Monitor staff and volunteer progress in performance as related to meeting specified metrics and data points set forth by Program Director
  • Participation in regular State, Local, and Agency meetings that involve data reporting, analysis, and requirements
  • Provide regular updates to agency, state, and local partners related to Suicide Prevention Program and 988 contact data/trends, staffing, performance on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Collaboration with Development department with regards to data points to be utilized in campaigns, marketing and advertising efforts, and events
  • Provide regular information and data as directed by Program Director to support program performance and improvement
  • Ensure all services meet the highest standards of care while adhering to documentation requirements maximizing the use of evidence-based and best practice treatment models and/or industry standards.
  • Ensure services are designed and delivered in a manner that facilitates progress toward identifiable client goals while maintaining a reasonable degree of client satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, Public Health, and/or Computer Science + 1 year of experience in contract/grant reporting and data analysis preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a non-profit behavioral health organization is highly preferred, especially in roles supporting grant deliverables or service evaluation. Experience with tracking and reporting on grant outcomes and performance metrics. Ability to work independently and work collaboratively with leadership positions, grant/contract partners, and program team members. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Very strong data analysis skills and significant experience using electronic systems including databases, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts), Teams, and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to identify trends, develop insights, and communicate findings clearly to leadership to inform program improvement or compliance. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response. Proactive and self-motivated attitude to work. Keyboarding skills at 35 WPM or greater, with accuracy. Reliable, excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Able to manage a flexible work schedule and commit to agree-upon hours with a high level of reliability and responsibility.

Physical Requirements: All work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility. Ability to maintain composure and work quality Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands and the use of fine motor skills. Constantly/frequently operates a computer and phone and required ongoing communication in the form of listening and speaking. Job occasionally requires standing, walking, and reaching. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically. Hearing requirements: Ability to hear information in person and by telephone.
