The Associate Director for Dental, Vision, and Hearing is responsible for creating and executing a strategy that is designed to drive sustainable growth by not only meeting the expectations of our members and state customers but by delighting and driving competitive differentiation. The vision is that our ancillary benefits are developed, launched, and continuously refined using our robust data, customer feedback and enterprise capabilities. This leader will also develop and maintain an explicit view of our strategy around enterprise partnerships including both internal and external partners.

Primary Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor external market / competitive landscape including understanding proposal trends, industry news/updates, and state trends
- Build a product performance process that includes reviewing and responding to utilization, consumer experience, and return on investment
- Build a product road map and work with cross-functional partners to drive delivery
- Own vendor management including establishing requirements, day-to-day management, and monitoring performance
- Work with marketing and distribution teams to create and maintain sales content
- Craft and maintain language for proposal ingestion ensuring best-in-class language and proof points are available
- Refine the comprehensive ancillary management strategy by actively incorporating data and insights into our go-forward strategic plan
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product development/management and/or Medicaid expertise
- Healthcare Industry experience
- Experience in leading complicated, cross-functional projects
- Experience in complex, matrix organizations; knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network
- Demonstrated leadership ability with cross-functional teams and consensus builder
- Demonstrated good negotiation, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills; accurately scopes out projects, sets objectives and goals, develops schedules and resource assignments, measures performance against goals, and evaluates results
- Ability to manage projects simultaneously and achieve goals; uses resources effectively and efficiently
- Solid analytical skills; demonstrates ability to use data to drive action
- Medicaid expertise and knowledge of health plan management (network, operations, clinical)
