Director of Hotel Sales

Hyatt Place, Niagara Falls USA is hiring a Director of Sales to join our management team and manage all sales efforts.

The prospective candidate must possess the ability to identify and engage new clients through prospecting, conduct cold calls, facilitate site tours, and proficiently draft and negotiate contracts. Furthermore, the candidate must demonstrate motivational skills to inspire other team members to emulate this enthusiasm. A willingness to engage with local tourism associations is essential.

Reporting to our General Manager, and in collaboration with our Regional Director of Sales, the candidate should allocate a substantial portion of their time to direct sales activities, which will include but are not limited to outside sales calls and property tours. The candidate will consistently pursue the development of new business opportunities and assist the hotel in meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality/hotel management is preferred.
• Prior experience in hotel sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets, is highly advantageous.
• In lieu of prior hotel sales experience, a minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience is a MUST.
• This is NOT a remote position. Must be able to work onsite.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
